A list of all the food consumed and places visited in no particular order, excluding (approximately) 64% of it due to negligence and/or laziness:
A winding, foggy road to Point Reyes where we found empty beaches, highly aggressive miniatures crabs, sea cows that didn't comprehend how spectacular their surroundings were and much needed pilsners at the most random Czech restaurant called Vladmir's. Sadly we were too full on shitty sandwiches for goulash.
Smitten ice cream located in a shipping container. They literally make the ice cream in front of you, pouring the ingredients into a churning machine that freezes it with liquid nitrogen! All very San Francisco and delicious.
Greek yogurt soft serve with honey and salt...and french fries with tzatziki at Souvla
The albino alligator at the Academy of Science NightLife. Drinking at an aquarium, can't really go wrong there.
Spicy beef noodle soup, as per Adrienne's recommendation. She did not steer us wrong, except for the noodle coma that followed.
Polenta and 65°C egg, salmon niçoise salad, and a most delicate passion fruit cake all at the de Young art museum café.
Fermented tea leaf salad at bstar, like an asian caesar salad but infinitely better.
The "Scorpion Bowl" at the Tonga room, which is indescribable and also unphotographable because of the mood lighting and occasional indoor lightning storms. Spiced rum, dark rum, orange and lemon juice, and orgeat....for two....with extra long straws. I felt fine until I stood up.
The tartine croissant (also the chocolate chip cookie and baguette) which has ruined me forever. They over cook it slightly so it's a bit crispy and its the best thing ever.
Exotic plants at the San Francisco Botanical gardens.
All of San Francisco from the top of Mount Tam.
